Question 1

How do I book you?

Accepted Answer

Send your date and venue. I confirm availability and a quote. Then a quick call about the vibe and your key moments, and a 30% deposit holds the date.

Question 2

What do you need from me for a quote?

Accepted Answer

Your date, the venue or city, the start and end time, the guest count, the vibe you want and your key moments.

Question 3

Will it be you at my event?

Accepted Answer

Yes. One DJ, not a roster, no substitutes. The person you talk to is the person who plays your event.

Question 4

Where do you play?

Accepted Answer

Metro Vancouver, Fraser Valley, Sea-to-Sky and Whistler, Vancouver Island, Okanagan and Kelowna. Travel outside Metro Vancouver is quoted with your date.

Question 5

Do you take requests?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Guests scan a QR code and send songs from their phone. Your direction always comes first.

Question 6

Can you MC?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Basic MC duties included on every booking: announcements, intros and speeches.

Question 7

What do you need at the venue?

Accepted Answer

A table, a corner and a standard outlet. No stage, riser or special power.

Question 8

When do you arrive?

Accepted Answer

On site an hour early. Sound, mics and cues tested before guests arrive.

Question 9

Who do you work with to plan the day?

Accepted Answer

One written run of show. I coordinate with your planner, MC and venue.

Question 10

What sound system do you bring?

Accepted Answer

A Pioneer DJ Opus-Quad console, two Yorkville 1000W speakers (or your venue's house system), two Shure SLXD24+ digital wireless mics and an Allen & Heath CQ-12T digital mixer. The sound system is sized to your room: for a bigger room, a patio or a second space, I add speakers.

Question 11

How do payments work?

Accepted Answer

A 30% deposit holds the date. The balance is due a few days before the event, so the day itself is all about the party.
